Summer is coming, and the frequency of use of the ice machine is also high. It is inevitable that there will be some failures. Those who open the store should understand the related equipment and learn simple troubleshooting. Today, let’s talk about the common failures and solutions of ice machines.
Because the length is too long, I will not talk about the principle. I will simply and roughly talk about the fault and the method. Everyone should look for it.
Vol.1 \ No ice
1. Not horizontally placed-requires horizontal placement
2. The ice plate probe is faulty or too close-replace or adjust the ice plate probe
3. Is the solenoid valve leaking? Replace the solenoid valve and filter
4. Refrigerant leakage-leak detection, repair welding and vacuuming to add refrigerant
Vol.2 \ Noisy
1. The fan is noisy-check the fan blades, install screws, correct or tighten
2. Whether the chassis is deformed-adjustment
3. The compressor itself is noisy-adjust and replace
4. Matcha tea in the refrigeration system pipeline-adjust the pipe route
Vol.3 \ No water, no water
There are two cases:
1. The pump works but does not feed water
There are several possibilities
1. There is air in the pipeline-discharge the air from the water pump
2. Excessive ice slag at the bottom-restart after shutdown and drainage
3. The pump impeller is worn out-replace the pump
2. The pump does not work
There are two possibilities:
1. The pump is broken-replace the pump
2. Poor wiring or circuit board failure-check the circuit or replace the circuit board
Vol.4 \ There is ice in the upper part of the ice tray and no ice or thin ice in the lower part
1. The ice tray installation is too inclined-adjust the installation
2. Fewer snow species-add snow species appropriately after determining the snow species
3. Not horizontally placed-horizontally
Vol.5 \ The compressor does not start
1. Low voltage-adjust the voltage
2. Check the start protector-replace if damaged
3. Whether the compressor is normal-replace the compressor if it is abnormal
Vol.6 \ Not enough heat dissipation
1. No ventilation-adjust the position of the vent
2. The condenser is dirty-clean the condenser
Vol.7 \ No water
1. The inlet valve is clogged-clean the net cover (according to the water dispenser filter)
2. The inlet valve is broken-replace the inlet valve
3. The socket on the circuit board is loose or the circuit board is broken-check the circuit board, or replace the circuit board
4. The water level sensor switch is broken-replace the water level sensor switch
5. The ice baffle does not return normally-adjust
Vol.8 \ Not running water
In addition to the above-mentioned pump is broken, there is a problem with the circuit board, there is air in the pump, too much ice residue at the bottom, there are also the following reasons:
1. Whether the baffle is in place-adjustment
2. Whether the magnetic switch works-whether the wiring of the circuit board is loose, and if it is loose, plug it in tightly, or replace the circuit board, or replace the magnetic switch
3. Blocking of the water pipe-cleaning the water pipe
4. The water supply pipe breaks or falls off-reinstall or replace
Vol.9 \ Jump
1. Whether the fan is damaged or the circuit board is loose or faulty-check the circuit board or replace it
2. Ice plug or dirt plug-replace the filter or capillary
3. Whether the fan probe is normal-the probe is broken or the circuit board is broken (replacement)
4. Poor heat dissipation-clean the condenser or place the whole machine in a ventilated location
5. Too much refrigerant-appropriate refrigerant
6. The voltage is too low-adjust the voltage
7. Compressor overload protector failure-replace protector
Vol.10 \ Slow ice making
1. Slow water flow-adjust or block several holes
2. Dirty ice tray-clean ice tray
3. The solenoid valve is not tight-replace the solenoid valve
4. The condenser is dirty and the location is not ventilated-clean the condenser and place it as specified
5. Leakage in the sink-replace the sink or make up the leak
6. Refrigerant micro-leakage-leak detection and repair welding, re-evacuation and refrigerant addition
7. Too much refrigerant-properly release refrigerant
Vol.11 \ Frequent ice removal
1. The ice baffle is too close to the ice tray-adjust clockwise
2. Ice plate probe failure-replace the ice plate probe
3. Circuit board failure-replace the circuit board
Vol.12 \ Circuit board failure
Check whether each plug of the circuit board is normal and whether the circuit board is damaged-adjust each socket or replace the circuit board
Vol.13 \ Is the magnetic switch normal?
1. Whether the magnetic switch is in position——adjustment
2. The magnetic switch is broken-replace
Vol.14 \ Other reasons for not cooling
1. Refrigerant leakage-leak repair welding, re-evacuation plus refrigerant
2. The solenoid valve cannot be closed-replace the solenoid valve
Finally, talk about the care and cleaning methods of the ice machine
Nissin: Wipe the exterior (pay attention to clean dead corners)
Zhou Qing:
1. On the basis of daily cleaning, remove the ice cubes in the ice storage tank
2. Clean the ice storage tank with disinfection water
3. Rinse clean with hot water above 80℃ to prevent no odor of disinfecting water
note:
1. Turn off the power before cleaning
2. Disinfection water: disinfectant 30ml: warm water 2000ml
Yueqing
1. Remove the upper panel of the ice machine and remove the baffle
2. Add special cleaning solution to the sink
3. Start making ice until the ice cubes made have no odor, and discard the ice cubes
4. The ice storage tank will be cleaned once with the matching disinfection water
5. Rinse clean with hot water above 80℃ to prevent no smell of disinfecting water
note:
Yueqing recommends to start within 2 hours before leaving get off work, and reserve a proper amount of ice cubes. The time to make 1 plate of ice is about 20-35min.
